Dita Von Teese Enters The Pleasure Dome
Imagine if you combined Thierry Mugler‘s designs, a medical supply warehouse, and Dita Von Teese? The result comes out in the latest issue of Flaunt magazine, where the burlesque star collides with couture. Within this “Sovereigns of The Pleasure Dome” editorial Von Teese takes on a new modeling role. The star poses in amazing vintage Theirry Mugler designs while rockin’ different hair styles including a helmet-like ‘do created by hair stylist, Marc Orsatelli. My favorite shot is the image below where Dita is looking very angelic while surrounded by lab workers in dull white coats.
Photographed by Ali Mahdavi, Von Teese enters different medical settings while drenched in couture that’s complimented by futuristic makeup looks created by makeup artist, Topolino. She keeps her signature dark hair for the shoot, but it’s offset with bright makeup or bold colored couture. With such contrasting hues this shoot stands out even more in my mind!
