Hats Off To Carolyn Murphy, No “Bizarre ER” For Her

Mar 30, 2011 By Amy

With bold hues and fruity flavored garments taking over spring issues, it’s nice to see things cool things off for a change with classic black and white shots of model crush, Carolyn Murphy. In the newest issue of V magazine, Murphy poses in black pieces with an exaggerated hair style that resembles a hat and a bow colliding in one mega up-do. The intricate look was created by hair stylist, Luigi Murenu, who works for John Frieda. I love how structured her hair looks, like a fancy statue. Murphy can move around all she wants, but it doesn’t appear her hair doesn’t seem to be moving anytime soon.

Actually this entire shoot titled, “Strictly Carolyn” reminds of that recent news story where a man superglued a tiny black hat to his head for Halloween. This aired on the BBC network show, “Bizarre ER” and I couldn’t help but feel sorry for the guy. But hats off to him (pun intended), because sometimes we all go that extra mile to look good. Luckily, Murphy had a team of experts on hand to help untwist her elaborate hairstyle.
