Rob Lowe Loves Himself

Apr 21, 2011 By Amy

With a rock hard body and a starring role on “Parks and Recreation” it’s hard to believe that Rob Lowe is FORTY-SEVEN! A part of me feels wrong for looking at him in this Vanity Fair spread. But, considering his entire shoot is shirtless, he’s just asking for it. Shot by Annie Leibovitz and titled, “Lowe, Actually”

the editorial highlights Lowe taking it easy by his favorite watering holes- the beach and a pool. Cool down ladies, because Lowe is married. His wife, Sheryl even did his hair for this shoot…too cute!

If you think Lowe looks good here, then you need to see the actor put on his funny pants for this Funny or Die short promoting his return to TV on “Parks and Recreation.” Lowe finds it hard to believe that TV went on with out him during his acting hiatus…So, he then goes on a hilarious tirade belittling the show’s stars. Poor Adam Scott even takes a punch for the face from Lowe–looks like his “party” literally went “down”! (I threw that in there for you “Party Down” fans).

Sheryl is actually an accomplished make-up artist, though I don’t see any film credits for her since around 1993. See Sheryl Berkoff on IMDb: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0075438/

And I’m kind of shocked to see that you’re crediting her for his hair – grooming generally includes make-up for men. When there is no hair stylist credited they do both, but it looks like Sarah Haynes did his hair on this. Unless there’s something in the actual VF article that I missed?
