Music Make You Lose Your Clothes
The original lyrics to Missy Elliott’s (what ever happened to her?) song go, “music make you lose control,” but clearly the models in this editorial were sparked to lose their clothes instead. Photographer Phil Poynter captured three nude blondes enjoying blue paint and symphony sounds in this creatively contrived shoot.
Titled, “Phil Poynter’s Monotone Symphony” these awe-inspiring images are intriguing while embracing nude photography in a fresh light. My eye can’t stop looking at the contrast between the paint splatters and clean cut musicians.
As for the models themselves, there’s not much fashion to talk about (aside from some formal tuxes) in this shoot, so it’s all about the hair and makeup. I’m pretty certain the girls are wearing wigs and you can’t miss their striking dark eye makeup which is complimented by strong brows.
