Is it just me or has the latest looks for Resort 2012 been beyond amazing!? From Gucci to Henry Holland, the brands we love have killed it on the runway.

If there is one brand I could live in (forever), it would definitely be Chloé…. Usually I’m a huge fan of their collections season after season (remember how snake charming their last one was?), but they really disappointed me on this one.

According to WWD, the resort collection which was worked on by the house’s design team (in transition of the arrival of new creative director Clare Waight Keller after Hannah McGibbon’s departure) and mixed “mixed military rigorist influences with feminine “flou” and a cool urban mood.” This collection was more structured with uniform like outfits in a color palette that seemed more appropriate for fall time.

Dissapointing, it seems as if the other Chloë (as in, Sevigny for Opening Ceremony) still has my vote…but I am optimistic, let’s see what Keller has to bring to the fashion house.
