Trying to explain True Blood to anyone who doesn’t watch the show is a perplexing misson and everything comes off sounding strange…and then you realize how bizarre the show actually is (sorry wherewolves and vampires).

At least there’s no confusion over how glamorous and divine the show’s star, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), looks in the Pre-Fall issue of V magazine. Sporting ultra blonde and brunette wigs the actress is hardly recognizable in these shots by photographer Sebastian Faena.

This editorial is titled, “The Flesh and Blood of Anna Paquin” but don’t let those word fool you, the starlet comes off looking more innocent instead of vampire bait.
